Centre for the Sustainable Built Environment (CSBE)
About CSBE
The Centre for the Sustainable Built Environment (CSBE) researches construction and urban design pathways to build the housing and infrastructure we need while reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
To achieve this goal, we investigate three main questions:
- What infrastructure and housing must we build to meet the needs of society?
- What is the GHG budget that can be allocated to the construction sector?
- What are the pathways and strategies to meet our construction needs within environmental limits?
